Celebrating Van Mahotsav with Tree Plantings

Every year the first week of July is celebrated as Van Mahotsav in India. This year Wildlife S.O.S. marked the event with the plantation of over a hundred trees inside the Sur Sarovar Bird sanctuary in Keetham, Agra. On the 2nd of July 2009, Wildlife S.O.S. Agra in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh Forest department and the dist. Panchayat started the tree plantation in the Agra Bear Rescue Facility. Read more »
