Q. Who is Wildlife SOS?

A. You can read more about our history on the About Us page, but we have been officially a registered charity since 2002. Our work is based in India and stretches across the entire country. We also have registered our charity in the United States and the United Kingdom to allow supporters in those countries to receive tax deductions for their donations. We currently do not do any rescue work outside of India. We are the only Non Governmental Organisation in India with sanctuaries caring for rescued dancing bears.

Q. Can I visit one of the centres in India?

A. We do accept visitors, but you do need to arrange the visit prior to your arrival. To do so, please use the contact page to let us know about your trip and when and where you would like to visit.

Q. Do you accept volunteers?

A. Of course! All across the world volunteers are involved in our work on many different levels. If you have interested in donating your time, please use the contact page. We'll make sure we make every effort to tailor your volunteer experience to your skill set and interests.

Q. What do I do if I see animals being mistreated?

A. Because our work is currently limited to India we can only field requests for reports of cruelty in India. For any issues within India, please use the contact page to send us a note. Please include as much information about the issue as possible. You can also call our Wildlife Rescue Helpline (+91-9871963535) to alert us to any illegal trade or poaching of animals. Your identity and contact details will be kept confidential under all circumstances.

Q. I am worried about the survival of animals in India. Do you help with that?

Q. Is my donation made in my country tax deductible?
