Wildlife Rescue in Delhi
A duck saved by the WSOS rescue team
We rescue over 3000 birds, reptiles and small mammals every year. Our two ambulances have rescued civet cats from airport runways, fox cubs from poachers, hedgehogs, baby deer from trappers, peacocks and pigeons attacked by feral animals, Kites, Eagles, Vultures and Egrets, which suffer organophosphate poisoning; Parakeets and Munias, saved from the wild bird trade; Partridges, Monitor lizards and Turtles rescued from the meat trade- all these find refuge at our Gurgaon Wildlife Rescue Shelter.

They are rehabilitated & released when they recover fully. All wild animals, birds or reptiles that we rescue & release are reported to the Wildlife Department along with details of its health condition, date, time and location of release. All wild animals are protected by the law under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
